The Dover Area Historical Society is pleased to present nearly 250 photographs taken by Dover jeweler William Harris from approximately 1890 until his death in 1917. He used dry-plate glass negative cameras in both 4"x5" and 5"x7" sizes, and skillfully photographed everything from cute babies to train wrecks. Within you will have access to both the digitized originals and carefully retouched versions of each of these outstanding vintage photographs.
